bookMobile Monday: Back by Popular Demand...

My friends all know me as a person who is passionate about good food, and I'm not necessarily talking gourmet here, just freshly prepared, healthy food. No high fructose corn syrup, trans fats, or artificial flavors in this house, thank you, and a minimum of preservatives. Over the past year, I've read a lot of great books on the subject of local, or slow food, the benefits of grass fed beef and poultry, and the mounting evidence against highly processed food products. Back by popular demand, a list of my favorites on these subjects:

Thank you for posting this great selection of books. Our family is very focused on eating fresh - healthy food. Hope to have a nice big garden at the cabin next year!

I am so leaning toward eating healthier....it's just so overwhelming! Thanks for the neat widgety thingy of books...I'm going to check my library to see if they have any of the titles...

One more thing...I just rated this post 5 stars but after it updated it says 3.5....what's the deal with that??? I noticed it was doing that when I was rating comments left at my blog too...what am I doing wrong?! lol!
