I Won!

I'm so excited! Building A Log Cabin had a contest last week for the best nature quote, the prize being a subscription to Log Home Living magazine and this one by Lord Byron that I submitted won:

"There is pleasure in the pathless woods, there is rapture in the lonely shore, there is society where none intrudes, by the deep sea, and music in its roar; I love not Man the less, but Nature more."
George Gordon Byron, 1788-1824

Anyone who has been visiting Robin's Woods for awhile knows that I live in a log house in the woods near the beach, and how I feel about living in such an isolated locale; this quote could not be more appropriate, nor the prize for it more appreciated! Take a moment and stop by Building A Log Cabin soon, not only has Shelly got a great blog full of everything you could ever want to know about log homes, she has also recently become a representative for Hiawatha Log Homes!
