What a lovely flower. I miss blackberries. You don't even see them in the markets here that often, let alone growing wild.

Great photos. I love blackberries! We used to scrounge around in the woods for hours and end up with lots of mosquito bites and scratches and a handful of warm, juicy blackberries. But it was always worth it.
A friend of mine has a friend who has a farm full of wild blackberries... we're going picking next week. I can't wait.

gorgeous - and I love the bee. I have pictures of my bees today, helping pollinate the green beans...

BTW, can I ask how you put your copyright right on the photo? I think I should learn how to do that too....

Happy WW!

They are lovely! We have some here in NJ but I've never actually tried to eat them...

Wow! Catching the bee like that must have been hard.

Robin, I love the detail in these pictures. The color and focus is great. One suggestion would be to deepen your depth of focus just a shade to keep more of the main subject flower in focus. Othwise, these are great shots.

Lee, thanks for your lovely comment and suggestion. Unfortunately, I'm not always dealing with just my depth of field. I'm inevitably shooting when the wind is blowing as well, and frequently do not have the ideal lens on my camera for the subject matter either. It's a long walk out to the mailbox, and even when the conditions are not ideal, I do my best to capture the natural beauty around me with what a I am carrying at that moment.

The bee picture is priceless. Beautiful as usual.

I pan to pick some blackberries later today. They grow wild along all the irrigation ditches here. Plenty to share with the birds!

Happy WW!

Very nice photos even if they might not be technically perfect. It's the composition and actual situation that counts most...
photography is all about capturing the moment and emotion of the second!

Warm greetings, Petra

Such lovely photos, and I love the bee. I used to go blackberry picking often as a child. Lovely memories of prickly bushes and juicy, fat blackberries. We ate more than we put in our tubs. Mum and dad did the serious picking ;O)

I always love your photos.
